Health and Safety
Health and safety in construction is not a matter to be taken lightly. An organised effort and procedures for identifying workplace hazards and reducing accidents and exposure to harmful situations and substances needs to be front of mind in every aspect of construction at all times. It also includes training of personnel in accident prevention, accident response, emergency preparedness, and use of protective clothing and equipment.
Evidence has shown that well-managed companies achieve high health and safety standards because it is an integral part of the management task.
